John McCullough

John McCulloughJohn McCullough is Past-Chair of the Waypoint Board of Directors. He has served on the Board since 2008, was appointed Vice-Chair in 2009 and served as Chair from 2010 to 2013. John is also a member of the Governance, Joint Conference, and Property Committees. Previous Board experience includes: past Chair of the Board of Governors at Georgian College of Applied Arts & Technology; Chair Mental Health Implementation Task Force; Chair Public Education and Communications Committee; Provincial Task Force; and Wendat Community Psychiatric Programs. He was the founding Chair of the Simcoe County Board of Education.

John is a graduate of the Radio and Television Arts Program, Ryerson University. Past employment includes General Sales Manager, CKVR Television, and Executive Director with the United Way. He is currently employed as Vice-Chair of the Ontario Parole Board. He brings a wealth of experience, having served on a number of local, regional and provincial organizations and committees. He was a member of the “Power of Education” fundraising group and the Governors’ Circle at Georgian College, is a Life Member of the Advisory Council, Salvation Army, Barrie, and is a member of the Society of Ontario Adjudicators and Regulators.
