How does music speak to people in ways language cannot? The connection between music and mental health is the theme Vijay (Robert) Gupta explores when explaining why music's redemptive power may hold more potential than we realize.

Gupta is the featured speaker and guest at Waypoint’s Third AnnualTD Bank Group makes mental health a priority, sponsoring Waypoint's Fundraising Dinner for the third year in a row. With a generous $20,000 title sponsorship from TD Bank Group and a delicious meal sponsored by Feast Catering, the event will be an evening of great music, exceptional food and an exclusive opportunity to listen to music that has the ability to transform lives.

“The work Vijay Gupta has done as director of Street Symphony—a free classical music concert series for the unaided mentally-ill living in homeless, incarcerated, and Veteran communities is truly inspiring,” said Betty Valentine, Waypoint Board Chair. “We are excited to welcome him to Penetanguishene to support the work we do at Waypoint.
