New visitor parking process at Waypoint
New visitor parking process at Waypoint
Posted on 10/03/2016
Paid parking for staff and regular contractors/tenants began at Waypoint on October 1, 2016. Visitors remain exempt from paid parking but are required to park in the marked Visitor Parking spaces available on the campus (see map). This includes family members and friends of patients and others visiting Waypoint for fitness activities, meetings and public activities. Visitor Parking spaces are marked in green on the attached map. Parking Lot A has the largest number of visitor spots so this may be where you want to check first. You do not require a tag if you are in a Visitor Parking space

If you arrive at Waypoint and all Visitor parking spots across the campus are in use, please visit security staff at the Toanche building main desk to obtain a visitor parking tag to put in your vehicle.

With this new initiative, parking enforcement is in place. Please do not park on roadways, in courtesy areas longer than 15 minutes, or any other areas that are not clearly marked as parking spaces. Emergency service vehicles require full access to the campus/buildings and you will receive a ticket if you are parked in an area not marked as a parking space. Tickets are issued under the Town of Penetanguishene parking bylaw and Waypoint is unable to rescind any tickets. All tickets are required to be paid at the Town office.
