Roger Robitaille was appointed to the Waypoint Board of Directors in 2010 and served as Vice-Chair from 2013 to 2016. He is the current chair of the Quality Committee and also sits on the Governance and Development Committees. Roger was a member of the Board of Directors for the former Huronia District Hospital from 1997 to 2007 and served as its chair from 2002 to 2004.
Roger obtained certificates in Municipal Administration and Municipal Law from Queen’s University and is a member of the Municipal Clerks and Treasurers Association of Ontario and the Canadian Association of Certified Planning Technicians. He was employed with the Township of Tiny from 1971 until his retirement in 2011 and most recently held the position of Manager of Planning & Development. He also served for a time as the Interim Chief Administrative Officer in the Township.
Roger is the Chair of the Township of Tiny Committee of Adjustments and belongs to the Perkinsfield Parks and Recreation Association. He is a board trustee for the Caisse Populaire Des Voyageurs Inc.
