Waypoint awarded Exemplary Standing from Accreditation Canada
Waypoint is proud to have been awarded Accreditation with Exemplary Standing by Accreditation Canada in June 2019.
This designation is the highest award available through the hospital accreditation program and attaining this level is a testament to the hospital's commitment to continuous improvement. Patients needing care at the hospital can be assured they are receiving the highest quality and safest care available as measured against a set of nationally recognized standards.
Waypoint met 100 per cent of the Required Organizational Practices and 99.7 per cent of required standards, criteria and guidelines.

The surveyors provided feedback on the hospital’s strengths and challenges, sharing their perspective that the team at Waypoint are fantastic, dedicated and caring. Waypoint is now accredited until 2023.
