The Gilbert Centre
Serving the Simcoe Muskoka area, The Gilbert Centre is committed to the greater involvement and meaningful engagement of people living with HIV/AIDS (GIPA/MIPA)
. The centre engages all those who live, work with and are affected by HIV/AIDS and their allies in a culture of inclusivity intended to foster an expanding and inclusive approach that embraces those living with HIV in all their diversity and circumstances.
The Gilbert Centre is a place where all human rights, identities, and experiences are respected. People who identify as lesbian, gay, bi, trans, two spirit, and all queer and trans people are welcomed and supported.
The Gilbert Centre has a Youth Connection drop-in and social space in Barrie, Orillia, and Midland.

It Gets Better
The It Gets Better Project was created to show young LGBT people the levels of
happiness, potential, and positivity their lives will reach – if they can just get through their
teen years. The It Gets Better Project wants to remind teenagers in the LGBT community
that they are not alone — and it WILL get better.

Rainbow Health Ontario is a province-wide program designed to improve access to services and to promote, the health of Ontario’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans communities.
The Trevor Project
