The Gender Identity Service - CAMH

Offers assessment and treatment to help children and youth ages 3-18 and their families to better understand a young person’s struggle with gender identity development.

  • Offers consultation to physicians, psychologists, social workers, teachers and other healthcare workers



The Gilbert Centre

The LGBTQ+ Youth Connection is a drop-in and social space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, intersex, trans, asexual etc. and undecided youth. Groups are a place for youth to connect with each other and to community.

  • Midland -1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month 4-6PM @ CHIGAMIK CHC (845 King St)

  • Bradford -2nd Wednesday of every month, 5-6PM @ Bradford Public Library (425 Holland St)

  • Orillia -2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, 4-6PM @ Orillia Public Library (36 Mississauga St.)

  • Barrie Junior Youth Connection (JYC) Age 12-15 – 1st and 3rd Thursday 4-6PM (190 Bayview Dr.)

  • Barrie Ages 16-20 – 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month 4-6PM (80 Bradford St., Suite 345)
