Elisabeth was appointed to the Waypoint Board in June 2020 bringing health leadership experience that spanned 4 decades and three provincial health systems.

She served as CEO of Montréal Children’s Hospital, BC Children’s and Women’s Health Centre and most recently, Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, until she retired in 2014. As CEO she has served on hospital boards and board committees as well as research institute boards and foundation boards.  

She was Dean of Health Sciences at BCIT and founded a Health Navigation company.

She is passionate about supporting the community through philanthropy, politics and volunteering. She is an Advisor to the Information Orillia Board and Chair of the Advocacy Committee of the Canadian Federation of University Women, Orillia.

Elisabeth is a graduate of McGill (physiotherapy) and Université de Montréal (Health Administration). She is a life long  learner, recently completing the Director’s Education Program and a Certificate in Health Care Law.
