Current priority areas include acute inpatient psychiatry, psychosocial rehabilitation community outreach, dual diagnosis outpatient care, forensic mental health inpatient psychiatry and regional geriatric mental health services. We are also accepting expressions of interest by candidates who hold an MD or equivalent, are certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada, who are eligible for licensure in the Province of Ontario and who are interested in providing physical healthcare to our inpatient population.

Preference will be given to a candidate who is interested in contributing to our academic culture through one or more of the above activities, and who thrives as part of a collaborative team.

Remuneration is salaried and very competitive, with additional benefits including vacation, sick leave, education leave, professional development funds, relocation allowance, and a fantastic pension plan. Independent contractor arrangements are also offered. Remuneration for child and adolescent mental health specialists is through an alternate payment plan (APP).
