Isabella Lim, PhD
Post-Doctoral Fellow
Dr. Isabella Lim joined the Waypoint Research Institute as a post-doctoral fellow in August 2024. She is trained as an experimental psychologist, having completed her PhD at the University of Toronto in 2023 through the Perception, Cognition and Cognitive Neuroscience stream. During her graduate studies, she leveraged behavioural methods to study interactions between visual attention and real-world stimuli. Her dissertation focused on attentional control and memory for object categories, examining the biased competition theory of attention.
Isabella is currently
working on the Behavioural Success Agent project with Dr. Katie Bingham, where
she is evaluating integrated care interventions for dementia using
mixed-methods designs. Outside of Waypoint, Isabella enjoys engaging with
science policy and music/film.
