Research Analyst

Jasleen Jagayat completed her Master’s of Science at Queen’s University with a specialization in neuroscience in the Queen’s University Online Psychotherapy Lab (QUOPL). Her thesis focused on integrating a stepped care model into a web-based cognitive behavioural therapy program for depression, with the aim of making improvements to web-based mental healthcare. At QUOPL, she worked on various research projects, assisted with grant and manuscript writing, managing clinical databases, and led and created the content team for module development covering different mental health disorders. Alongside her research, Jasleen completed a Mitacs internship at an online mental health clinic, the Online Psychotherapy Tool (OPTT Inc.), where she experimented with exploratory data analysis and learned machine learning techniques to improve virtual mental health care.

 

Currently, Jasleen is working with Dr. Bingham on an Implementation Science Team Grant that aims to evaluate the feasibility, effectiveness and potential scalability of the BSA program in the North Simcoe Muskoka region.

Outside of work, Jasleen enjoys baking, going for hikes and engaging with different crafts
