Effective May 17, 2023, masks will be encouraged
but no longer required for staff, visitors or patients in all common public spaces at the Penetanguishene campus, the Community Health Hub, and the Jones Road location. These common spaces include hallways, the Bay Café, lobby areas, and others.
Masks will continue to be required in clinical areas where patients are cared for.
Everyone must continue to self-screen before entering the building. Please do not enter if you are ill.
Staff must self-screen daily at the beginning of their shift.
Screening questions:
* Do you have any of the following four (4) symptoms not related to
known allergies or other chronic conditions: fever and/or chills,
cough, shortness of breath, decrease or loss of taste or smell?
AND/OR
* Two or more of the following new or worsening symptoms: runny
nose/nasal congestion, headache, extreme fatigue, sore throat,
muscle aches/joint pain, nausea/vomiting and/or diarrhea?
