Spiritual Care
Spiritual Care Providers work closely with inter-professional staff to connect spirituality and mental health in the delivery of care. Spiritual Care Services provides dedicated spiritual support and resources to patients, clients, staff and families. Specific Aboriginal needs are addressed by our Aboriginal Healer and other multi-faith needs are addressed by a network of local spiritual resources.
This connection is nurtured in a variety of ways:
* One-to-one visitation
* Support for families
* Spiritual Assessment
* Sunday Church Services
* Aboriginal Circles/Ceremonies
* Multifaith Services
* Spirituality Groups
* Ethics and Education Consults
* Staff Support
* Contact with faith communities
* Spiritual Visitor Program
